WHO WE ARE

Hi, I'm Jennifer Blackburn.

I have always liked developing people and spent over 20 years of my career in Human Resources whilst working in the leisure sector.

Being made redundant gave me the opportunity to do what I love which is to help support people and businesses develop.

I live in Holyport, Berkshire with my husband, daughter and two ginger cats Felix and Toffee!

I completed my Postgraduate Degree in Human Resource Management in 2006 and have been a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

I support organisations in the Health & Social Care sector especially by running a variety of skills courses focusing on leading in person-centred care as well as one-off projects including HR advice and HR IT systems.

In my spare time if not walking the Thames Path or being in an exercise class I volunteer in a local care home where I spend time reminiscing and helping the residents with various activities.

Hi, I’m Abbas Abdeali

I have been working within Health and Social Care for over 8 years now. I worked through the various roles within Eton House Residential Home. I am currently in the role of Operations Manager for Eton House, having stepped up from the position of Registered Manager in 2018.

At Eton House we have achieved a CQC rating of Outstanding in 2016 and more recently in 2019.

I live in Slough with my wife and young daughter, and have done so for my whole life. I am very lucky and blessed to have a whole network of family and friends nearby.

I completed my Bachelors Degree in Mathematics, and even then was considering a profession in teaching. However, fate brought me to Eton House in 2011 and I never looked back. I have loved my journey and thoroughly enjoy working with people.

Teaching has always been my passion and I enjoy nothing more than watching people grow and fulfil the potential that they have.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends… as well as playing squash, football and reading science fiction novels.
